1. BOLEMUS AUGUSTUS BURTCHER was born about 1818 in Illinois. We believe he was born in Kaskaskia, Randolph Co, Illinois but at this time do not have absolute proof. On land entry file dated 14 Apr 1857 he states he is 40 years old and has a wife and 4 children. He married 3 Jun 1841 in Gasconade Co., MO to MARY ELLEN RICKETTS, daughter of Benjamin R. and Rachel (Griffee) Ricketts. Mary Ellen was born 27 Sep 1828 in Muskingum Co, Ohio and died 8 May 1872. Bolemus is found as B.A. Burtcher also. He died 1870 in Osage Co., MO.

2. EDWARD WASHINGTON BURTCHER (BA) was born 25 Dec 1849 in Linwood/Baley's, Osage Co., Missouri. He died 19 Jan 1917 in Roff, Pontotoc Co., Oklahoma. He married 24 Nov 1872 in Osage Co., Mo to MARY ANN HAYNES/HAINES. Mary Ann was born 18 Jan 1847 and died 27 Jan 1925 in Oklahoma City, Ok and buried in Roff, Pontotoc Co., OK. 2. LYDIA ANN BURTCHER was born 1 Mar 1854 in Osage Co., Mo. She married 29 Oct 1872 in Osage Co. to John Newton Earl Pearon. Lydia died 21 Feb 1926 Osage Co, Mo and is buried at Lane Cem, Osage Co. He died 20 Jan 1890 and is buried at Francis Cem in Osage Co, Mo. then she married 2. Alvin Corbley Dunlap, 3. J.W. Elder then 4. George E. Hill; Mary Ellen died 6 Oct 1935 Long Beach, Ca. 2. CHARLOTTE PERCILLA BURTCHER married first Henry Brumley. Lottie divorced him and regained her maiden name. She married second 10 Jan 1884 in Cuba, Crawford Co., Mo to WILLIAM EDWARD HUGHES, son of Stephen and Mary Hughes of Pike Co, Ohio. He was born April 1839 in Highland Co Ohio. William's first marriage was to Mary C. Scowden/Skouden in Scioto Co., Ohio. Mary died in 1883. William died 1898 and Lottie died 10 Feb 1929 at St. James Veterans Home and buried in the old Hughes graveyard on the Hughes family farm outside Cuba, Crawford Co, Mo. 2. AMANDA HANNAH BURTCHER was born 03 Oct 1863 in Osage Co, Mo. She married 23 Oct 1884 in Osage Co., Mo. to GEORGE WASHINGTON MOSS Jr, son of George Washington and Sarah Elizabeth Boyse Moss. His father died down in Memphis, Tn in the civil war and he is listed in MO Union Burials put out by the State Historical Society of Missouri. Amanda died 9 Feb 1890 Osage Co, MO. He died 20 Feb 1959 in Osage Co, Mo. and is buried at Francis Cem in Osage Co, Mo. G.W. Moss never married again.

3. CLARENCE WALLACE BURTCHER (Edward, BA)was born 25 April 1877. He married first to SARAH CORBITT, daughter of James Corbitt. Sarah was born about 1882 and died 1915 in Judsonia, White Co., AR. After her death he married ROSA LEE JONES. Clarence was a blacksmith in Oil Trough, AR. He was also a trade ship builder and wood worker. He was a taxi driver in McCrory, Woodruff Co., Ar also. Clarence died 17 Nov 1927 in Alex, Grady Co, Ok and buried 18 Nov 1927 in Bradley, Grady Co., Ok. Pictures

3. NORA BELLE PEARON was born 16 Jan 1876 in Crawford Township, Osage County, MO. She married 20 Jan 1895 in Osage Co, Mo to William Edward Jarvis. William was son of Samuel and Melvina Rickets Jarvis. She died 30 Jan 1953 in Osage Co, Mo. They are both buried at Lane Cemetery, Crawford Township, Osage County, MO

3. SARAH JANE BOYSE was born 16 Jan 1889 in Byron, Osage Co, MO. She married first 4 Feb 1904 to ORA OTHO FORSYTH, son of John C. and Mary Manda (Ross) Forsyth. She divorced in 1913. She married second 24 July 1920 in Vancouver, WA to JAMES DAVID MONTGOMERY. James died 21 May 1957 in a car accident in Rogue River, OR and buried in Woodville Cem. in Rogue River. Sarah Jane passed away 13 March 1983 (on her daughter Gloria's birthday) in Walnut Creek, CA and is buried in Woodville Cem in Rogue River.

3. MARY ELLEN HUGHES was born 05 Dec 1884. She married JOHN LEE HUTSON. He was born March 1874 in KS and died 05 May 1930. Mary Ellen died 19 Jan 1911. They both died in St. Louis, MO and are buried at Hughes family cemetery in Crawford Co, MO.

4. ARTHO RAYMOND EDWARD BURTCHER (Clarence, Edward, BA) was born 19 May 1900 in Roff, Ok. He married EVIE AVO MOORE, daughter of Andrew Jackson Moore and Maud Lee Reeves. "Raymond" died of the swine flu 29 Nov 1918 in McCrory, Woodruff Co., Ar. He left a 3 month old baby and a young wife.
